41% of physicians use Facebook, 29% use YouTube, 23% use LinkedIn but only 11% use Twitter for professional networking purposes.
AMN Healthcare’s Social Media Survey provides valuable insights into healthcare professionals’ job searching trends and the use of social and mobile media for job search and career networking purposes. Responses to the 2011 survey, coupled with a comparison of year-over-year social media survey responses, show that healthcare clinicians are shifting away from traditional job search channels and activities in favor of social media to help further their careers.
