Tim Gee is Principal and founder of Medical Connectivity Consulting (MCC) (
www.medicalconnectivity.com). Tim’s practice revolves around workflow automation through the integration of medical devices with information systems, and enabling technologies. MCC advises healthcare providers and manufacturers on needs assessment, requirements, workflow and patient flow analysis, regulatory issues, product development, sales and marketing. Markets covered include both acute and ambulatory care.
Tim brings 25 years of experience with care delivery processes, therapeutic and diagnostic modalities in most clinical areas, including e-health transactions between physicians, hospitals and payors.
Tim speaks frequently at industry conferences and corporate events. He is currently the program chair and principal organizer for the Medical Device Connectivity conference.
Prior to founding MCC, Tim worked for medical device, health care IT and wireless vendors, including: Philips Medical Systems, Welch Allyn, e-health connectivity startup Pointshare, AT&T Wireless, Corometrics and Baxter Systems Division.
Tim is on the editorial advisory boards of a number of publications, participates in key industry interoperability development efforts, and is an advisor to a number of early stage companies.
