Herina Ayot is a graduate of New York University with a B.A. in Psychology and minor in Journalism and Mass Communications. She currently serves as a media and writing consultant for Dunedin, Inc, an international corporate advisory services firm founded in 1994. The company services micro sized to small sized companies, assisting them to implement their strategy and achieve their corporate goals. In this role, she coordinates media services for micro cap public companies looking to increase their liquidity and raise share price. By amalgamating seasoned writers in the investment space with loyal followings on various portals like Seeking Alpha, Forbes.com, and The Mötley Fool, she is able to engage a much larger group of targeted investors and get a company's story exposed.
Herina has previously served as Managing Editor for New York’s premier Life Science media firm, OneMedPlace. In her tenure there, she organized weekly e-newsletters and increased readership by nearly 100 percent. She has also worked for several nonprofits including Project Renewal and the National September 11 Memorial and Museum Foundation chaired by Mayor Bloomberg. Her work in community and social reform in events, research, and grantwriting continues to inspire and inform her professional work.
