Ellen McKenna

Before joining the Foundation, Ellen was a public information officer for the University of Virginia Health System. She has an extensive background in strategic communications planning and content development. Her experience spans several entrepreneurial ventures, a succession of managerial positions at AT&T and Bristol-Meyers Squibb, and her own consultancy practice that specialized in strategic planning, marketing communications and public relations. Ellen holds a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from Kent State University in Ohio and an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
