Jack is currently Chief Business Officer with LiquidGrids, a company that has developed a platform that converges social media and healthcare resulting in a revolutionary new way to connect the life sciences industry to the healthcare consumer. He is also an active investor and on the Board of Directors of San Diego Tech Coast Angels, the largest angel investors network in the US. Prior to this Jack was Senior Vice President with Brinson Patrick Securities Corporation, a New York based investment-banking firm where he remains as an advisor. Jack is also is very active in the community in a variety of roles including working with CONNECT on the Springboard Program Advisory Board and with BayBio where he is active on several committees. Jack is currently on the boards of BIOCOM, the San Diego Chapter of the American Liver Foundation as well as Amplyx Pharmaceuticals Jack is a registered pharmacist from Columbia University and and MBA from New York University. He started his career by spending 28 years with Eli Lilly and Company where he held a number of senior management marketing and sales positions in the US and abroad. Jack arrived in San Diego in April 2001 and became CEO of InJet Digital Aerosols. Since then has taken on full and part time senior management roles in seven different biotech and medical device companies operating in the US, Europe, and China, the most recent as EVP Corporate Development for Vital Therapies where he focused on commercialization, partnering and capital acquisition activities in the US and China. He was also President of InterPharmaLinkUSA, a leading provider of professional business development services to major pharmaceutical and biotech companies and now remains an advisor to the spinout group, eckel & partners.Latest Network Activity
