ClearMD is a web+mobile application that allows healthcare providers to prescribe their expertise to patients through short, single-topic videos they can make themselves.  From an avid ClearMD client, “I prescribe videos because I know that educated and active patients are more engaged in their own care, get better outcomes and cost less to treat”.

ReferralMD allows you to exchange, manage and track 2-way referrals, authorizations and progress updates online.  This review from MedCityNews:

“ReferralMD is a cloud-based application that complements existing EMR systems. It digitizes the process of obtaining pre-authorization from insurance carriers, sending the patient’s information and a snapshot of their case from the primary care physician to the specialist, and sharing the results of that specialist appointment with the physician. That results in less time being spent, more information being shared and less risk of liability from improperly managed referrals.”medical education

From the sickweather website:

“Just as Doppler radar scans the skies for indicators of bad weather, Sickweather scans social networks for indicators of illness, allowing you to check for the chance of sickness as easily as you can check for the chance of rain.

Use Sickweather to track illnesses, compare symptoms, and see which viruses are going around in your area. Connect with Facebook and Twitter to find your sick friends and recommend your favorite home remedies or just say, “Get well soon!”
